Designed for organizations needing more bandwidth and a highly secure, dedicated connection between their existing Local Area Network (LAN) and the public Internet, Ethernet Dedicated Internet provides an Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) from the customer’s location to a Comcast Internet Point of Presence (POP) router. Our Ethernet interface enables true plug-and-play compatibility with your LAN.

Ethernet Dedicated Internet Features

Symmetrical Connectivity
Symmetrical dedicated Internet bandwidth, configurable from 1Mbps to 10Gbps through Class of Service (CoS) options.

IP Addresses
Static IP addresses assigned based on American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) guidelines and customer justification.

Domain Name System (DNS)
Includes primary and secondary DNS service – Comcast will assist customers in transferring existing domain names.

Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Routing
Optional BGP setup to facilitate multi-homing among multiple ISP networks.

Enterprise Business Support
Our Enterprise customers receive 24/7 priority Business Class support from an experienced dedicated local account team led by an Enterprise Account Executive which consists of technical and service specialists. Additionally, services are monitored 24/7 by a dedicated national team through our Business Class Network Operations Center (NOC).
